American Towman ShowPlace Las Vegas 2026: What We Learned and Loved

Autura Team at the 2026 American Towman ShowPlace Las Vegas Event

Last Updated: May 2025

🔎In this article: Autura Events Manager Kylie Money shared a recap of Autura’s team experience at the annual American Towman gathering, one of the towing and recovery industry’s premier events.

The Autura team recently traveled to Nevada for one of the towing, recovery, and unclaimed vehicle industry’s biggest events — American Towman ShowPlace Las Vegas.

From the moment exhibit hours kicked off, we enjoyed lively booth conversations, and the chance to connect, in person, with this awesome, hard-working community of towing operators, owners, and partners who keep this industry moving forward.

Here’s a quick summary of what went down (even though, typically, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas 😊)

Conversations We Had

American Towman events draw a wide range of attendee types, from towing business owners and dispatch managers to impound operators and high-volume vehicle buyers. Yet even with differing roles and responsibilities, we heard a consistent theme during conversations: The need for connected systems, which would allow stakeholders from every corner of this industry to better manage increasingly complex operations.

Attendees shared real challenges around:

All impacted (and impeded) by siloed systems and disconnected processes and documentation.

Industry Momentum Clarity We Gathered

If there was one takeaway from this year’s Vegas Tow Show I could share, it’s that the industry is rapidly evolving, at a faster pace than we’ve seen before.

Towing and recovery operators are looking for smarter ways:

  • Scale, consolidate, or sell their business
  • Reduce administrative burden
  • Increase profitability — without adding complexity

We also experienced enthusiastic interest in our digital auction software, indicating a greater need to simplify impound management and transform this part of a towing and recovery business into a solid revenue opportunity versus a time-consuming, resource-heavy business headache.

This interest came especially from companies managing high vehicle volumes looking for more automated, easier management. They shared their need for solutions that protected their security and cashflow while allowing them to dedicate time and effort to higher-value tasks rather than manual listing management, in-person vehicle sales, and chasing buyers down for proper payment.
